Description
Basic training, working safely with dangerous goods.
The basic safe handling of dangerous goods course is designed for anyone involved in the transportation of dangerous goods. This includes employees who fill, label and label packages, but this course is not for employees who prepare transport documents and perform loading and unloading operations. This is an abbreviated version of the full awareness training.
This training includes the regulations of ADR in English. It also covers a little bit of PGS-15 and CLP labeling.

This training is based on Chapter 1.3 of the ADR.
This chapter provides that “Persons employed by those concerned in accordance with Chapter 1.4 whose duties involve the transportation of dangerous goods shall be trained as appropriate to the requirements of the transportation of dangerous goods for their responsibilities and duties. Employees must be trained before assuming responsibilities and may perform functions only under the direct supervision of a trained person.”
Purchasing a Training
As the purchasing customer (Group Leader), you can choose whether or not to participate in the training yourself. When “Enroll Me” is checked, you will be counted as a group member (participant) and will also be able to follow the training. If this option is not checked, the Group Leader will not be counted as a participant.
In that case, the Group Leader is only authorized to view the progress and results of the group members and cannot participate in the training.
Finally, enter the number of licenses required and provide a name for the group. Click “Add to Cart” and complete the payment details.
After placing the order, you will have the option to either start the training immediately or navigate to the Group Management page. On the Group Management page, you can add participants to your group. Once you submit the participants’ details, they will receive an email containing their login credentials and can start the training right away.
Enrolling Users
On the “Group Management” page, under “Your Purchased Group(s)”, click on the group for which you would like to enroll users. Then click the blue “Enroll New User” button.
Enter the first name, last name, and email address of the users you wish to add. You can add multiple users at the same time by clicking “Add More Users”.
After entering the required information, click “Submit”. Once the information has been submitted, one user registration (license) will be deducted for each enrolled user. The remaining user registrations (licenses) are displayed at the top of the “Group Management” page beneath the group name.
The participants will receive an email containing their login credentials, allowing them to start the training using their own account.
Certificates
At the end of the training, after successfully passing the Final Assessment, the participant will receive a personal certificate.
Passing is guaranteed! If the Final Assessment is completed with an insufficient score, it can be reset and retaken as many times as necessary until a passing score is achieved.
The certificate can easily be viewed and downloaded from the participant’s account. In addition, the certificate will be sent to both the participant’s registered email address and the Group Leader’s email address.
